TOKYO
the nation's capital and largest city. From its traditional Buddhist temples and Shinto shrines, Kabuki plays and Sumo wrestling, to modern landmarks such as the high-tech Tokyo Tower and Rainbow Bridge, Tokyo is a fast paced, bustling metropolis. With so much to offer, this city will excite and amaze you at every turn.
ASAKUSA
is famous for its Sensoji Temple (Asakusa Kannon Temple) & Nakamise Shopping Street. Nakamise comprise the 300m approach to the temple, and are one of the oldest shopping districts in Japan.

NIKKO TOSHOGU
is a monument dedicated to Tokugawa Ieyasu, founder of the Tokugawa shogunate, created by his grandson, Tokugawa Iemitsu. Built in 1636. A selection of vividly colored and elaborate wood carvings as well as large amounts of gold leaf was used to decorate the buildings.

KIYOMIZU TEMPLE
is famous for its Main Hall and a wide, wooden veranda atop a cliff that offers a panoramic view of Kyoto city. The veranda is supported by a wooden scaffold that is somewhat camouflaged by the hillside of trees it is built on, so the veranda appears to be floating in midair.
KYOTO
was a capital of Japan for a more than 10 centuries until 1886 and its still retains most of its old world charm. Countless and historically priceless structures survives in the city of today.
OSAKA
Osaka city is the commercial and industrial center of western Japan.

MT. KOYA
For as many as 1,200 years atop this 900 meter mountain, 117 temples have stood together. Included in this number is Kongobuji Temple, something of a religious 'city' nowadays. Many followers of Kukai (Kobo Daishi), still regard the area as sacred - the land around Danjo Garan and Okunoin especially so. As a wooded area surrounds the temples it is possible to enjoy hiking as well as viewing the religious side of things.
