The mountain is the highest (3,776m) and most popular mountain in Japan. The volcano has not been active for more than 250 years. The Fuji Visitor Center gives you comprehensive information on Mt. Fuji, including a 12 faced multi-projected image featuring the magnificent sum of things produced by nature of Mt. Fuji, its geographic features, distribution of plants & animals, its history and its 5 lakes, and a variety of art works associated with Mt. Fuji.

Lake Ashi Cruise
The lake is a typical caldera lake formed between the outer crater ridge and inner volcanoes. It is a cruise around the beautiful lake.

Mt. Komagatake Ropeway
It takes you to the top of Mt. Komagatake. It travels a length of 720m so you have plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful views.

The present Hall of the Great Buddha was rebuilt in 1709, and major repairs were carried out in recent years as well. The Great Buddha, designated a National Treasure, is roughly 14 m tall, and is the largest metal statue of the Buddha in the world.

Most commonly called the "Deer Park" by visitors due to the many deer that roam the park, they are regarded as divine messengers of the Kasuga Shrine and are one of the main attractions.

Ryoanji Temple
Famous for its rock garden, the best dry Japanese garden and a masterpiece by Soami (1455-1525), who was greatly influenced by Zen.

Kiyomizu Temple
Famous for its Main Hall on the cliff top with a broad wooden veranda and a panoramic view of Kyoto. Then walking down to Sannenzaka shopping street, etc.

Transfer with your guide to Miyajima, home of Itsukushima Shrine, which is famous for its Floating Torii Gate and was designated as a World Heritage site in 1996.

Head back to Hiroshima to visit the Atomic Bomb Dome
This miserable half-demolished figure expresses the dire devastation of the bombing that occurred in those days, the sins of war, and the preciousness of peace in the future. In 1996, the dome was inscribed as a World Cultural Heritage Site.

Peace Memorial Museum
A park with a number of monuments for peace, a tower erected for the repose of the souls of the victims of the atomic bomb, a memorial tower, and a fountain with an eternal Flame of Peace. Flocks of doves, a symbol of peace, are often seen flying around the park.

Kami Sannomachi street
This area is located on the east side of the River Miyagawa, flowing in the center of the city of Takayama. It used to be the castle town under direct control of the Tokugawa shogunate so many of the traditional houses have remained to allow you to feel an atmosphere of samurai society.

Yatai Kaikan hall which houses intricately decorated floats used in Takayama’s famous Spring and Autumn Festival.

Kasuga Shrine founded in 710, it has been identically reconstructed every 20 years. The buildings painted vermillion, features the Kasuga style of architecture. Some 3,000 lanterns line the road east from the second tori gate. Before returning back to Kyoto, stop at Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine is home to countless torii gates painted in brilliant red that seem to beckon you to another dimension.
