Day 1: TOKYO » YAMANASHI


Begin your adventure in Tokyo and set off to discover Yamanashi Prefecture. Start at Erin-ji Temple, a historic Zen temple established in 1330. Explore the serene grounds, including the Zen Garden and the ancient Shikyakumon Gate. Next, visit Katsunuma Budokyo wine region for a culinary adventure. Enjoy a sumptuous lunch at a local restaurant, savoring specialties like Hoto (noodles) and Yamanashi beef. After lunch, visit a local winery for a wine tasting session. Sample exquisite Koshu wines and learn about the meticulous winemaking process. Travel to Arakurayama Sengen Park in Fujiyoshida for stunning views of Mount Fuji. Visit the Arakura Sengen Shrine and Chureito Pagoda, known for its breathtaking panoramic views.

Day 2: YAMANASHI


Start with a visit to Mt. Fuji 5th Station, part of the UNESCO World Heritage site. Enjoy panoramic views, a leisurely walk, and capturing memorable photos of Japan’s iconic peak. Relish a meal featuring fresh local produce and specialties, such as Fujiyoshida udon. Head to Oshino Hakkai, a charming village with eight crystal-clear ponds fed by Mount Fuji’s melting snow. Stroll through the picturesque village, admire traditional thatched-roof houses, and marvel at the reflections of Mount Fuji in the ponds. Travel to Lake Yamanakako, the largest of the Fuji Five Lakes, offering stunning views of Mount Fuji. Take a leisurely walk along the shore, enjoy water activities, or simply relax and take in the serene beauty. 

Day 3: YAMANASHI » SHIZUOKA


Next, embark on a quest to uncover the enchanting charm of Shizuoka Prefecture. Start with a visit to Suyama Sengen Shrine, offering beautiful views of Mount Fuji. Walk on Japan’s longest pedestrian suspension bridge, Mishima Skywalk, with stunning views of Mount Fuji and Suruga Bay. Visit Mishima Taisha Shrine with its beautifully landscaped grounds and a museum showcasing local artifacts. Stroll around the bustling fish market at Numazu Port and learn about the local fishing industry. Feast on fresh sushi and sashimi at a renowned seafood restaurant. Walk along the shoreline of Senbonhama Park, enjoying scenic views of Suruga Bay and capturing photos of Mount Fuji. Wander through the gardens and historic buildings of the Numazu Imperial Villa Memorial Park. Arrive at Shuzenji Onsen, a historic and charming hot spring resort located in the town of Izu.

Day 4: SHIZUOKA


Begin at Shuzenji Temple, known for its traditional architecture and serene temple grounds. Enjoy a lunch featuring Shuzenji soba and seasonal vegetables. Shuzenji Niji-no-Sato, a theme park showcasing traditional Japanese and Western-style gardens. Visit the Nirayama Reverberatory Furnace, a UNESCO World Heritage site in Izunokuni, part of the “Sites of Japan’s Meiji Industrial Revolution: Iron and Steel, Shipbuilding, and Coal Mining,” recognized in 2015. Embark on your next journey, carrying with you the cherished memories and exhilarating experiences of world heritage sites and the delightful flavors of local cuisine.
