Day 1:
ARRIVAL AND HAKATA DELIGHTS
Begin your adventure by indulging in Hakata’s famous motsunabe, a hearty hotpot dish, before visiting the mesmerizing digital art installation at teamLab Forest, an immersive experience. For dinner, explore the vibrant food stalls in Tenjin or Nakasu, where you can savor a variety of Hakata specialties.
Day 2:
FUKUOKA GASTRONOMY TOUR & ITOSHIMA EXPLORATION
The next day, visit Raizan Sennyoji Daihioin Temple in Itoshima City, experience making mentaiko, and sample sake at Shiraito Sake Brewery. Lunch will be at an oyster hut, followed by sightseeing of Sakurai Futamigaura or Strawberry Picking (January to April). In the evening, immerse yourself in a hands-on experience rolling sushi and traditional Fukuoka dishes.
Day 3:
MUNAKATA AND KURUME
Journey to Munakata and take a boat tour around the scenic Oshima Island, where you’ll relish a fresh seafood lunch. After visiting the historic Munakata Taisha Shrine, head to Kurume for a memorable dinner at Fukahori-tei, known for its handmade, additive-free Japanese cuisine.
Day 4:
TEA AND WAGYU EXPERIENCE
On your final day, enjoy a gyokuro tea experience at Konomi Honke, the oldest tea merchant in Kyushu. Savor a sumptuous lunch featuring different cuts of Hakata wagyu beef. Conclude your journey with a departure from Hakata Station or Fukuoka Airport, carrying with you cherished memories of Fukuoka’s rich and diverse culinary culture.
