This is two days journey around Kyushu, and you can experience the richness of spending time on the Seven Stars. This journey brings you relaxing moments in the changing scenery through the train windows. The sunset over the East China Sea from the Hisatsu Orange Railway will be memorable. Communicating with local people in small coastal towns, in the west and east of Kyushu, will surely warm your heart.

Day 1: Fukuoka Cultural Retreat: Munakata Shrine and Culinary Delights


Embark on a memorable journey through Fukuoka's rich history and culinary traditions. The tour begins with a warm welcome at Fukuoka Airport at 11:15a.m. or Hakata Station at 11:50a.m.

Exclusive Visit to Munakata Shrine: Dive deep into Japan's cultural and spiritual heritage at this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Discover Kyushu's breathtaking landscapes, rich history, and culinary delights aboard the luxurious Seven Stars train. Begin your journey with a warm welcome ceremony at 9:10 in the Kinsei Lounge at Hakata Station, before departing at 9:50. 

Scenic Train Ride: Relax and take in stunning views of the azure sea as the Seven Stars travels south to Kagoshima. Immerse yourself in Kyushu's cultural and historical heritage through captivating stories shared by the masters who designed the train's magnificent interiors. 

Sushi Lunch on Board: Savor a delectable sushi lunch, artfully prepared and served as you enjoy the tranquil ambiance of the train. 

Craft Workshop: Unleash your creativity with an on-board craft production activity, adding a touch of artistry to your journey.

Conclude your enchanting journey with a memorable ride along the Kyudai Main Line, featuring panoramic views of the majestic Mt. Yufu. The ever-changing scenery outside the train window invites reflection on the experiences gathered throughout your extraordinary adventure, as you head towards Hakata Station, your final destination.

Serene Morning Start: Begin the day as the train arrives at Miyazaki Station in the early hours before continuing to Nobeoka Station. Indulge in a delightful Western-style breakfast served onboard while enjoying the gentle morning light. 

Saiki Excursion: Stop at Saiki Station for an outdoor exploration of the charming coastal town. Stretch your legs and immerse yourself in its tranquil atmosphere. 

Gourmet Japanese Lunch: Back onboard, savor a beautifully prepared Japanese-style lunch as the train makes its way to Oita Station. 

After a brief stop at Yufuin Station, a picturesque town known for its charm and natural beauty, immerse yourself in a heartwarming Farewell Event thoughtfully organized onboard.

The "Seven Stars in Kyushu" journey includes a stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Fukuoka, a 2-day/1-night exclusive train journey, gourmet dining featuring French and Japanese Kaiseki cuisine, guided cultural experiences including a private visit to Munakata Shrine, and sightseeing across Kyushu with onboard and off-train activities.

The price is based on the final itinerary, room type (Suite or Deluxe Suite), number of travelers, and optional arrangements like Tokyo departure/arrival and additional sightseeing. Spaces are limited to 16–20 participants for a truly intimate and exclusive experience.

●Guest Room is based on double occupancy. Travel fee is per person based on double occupancy. Additional fee is required for single occupancy. ●Guest rooms are equipped with a bathroom (outdoor or indoor) and toilet. Depending on the number of guests, an extra bed may be used. ●Twin or double beds may not be available for certain accommodations.

 This tour consists of tourists from all over the world. The tour will have a nationally licensed English speaking guide who will also serve as a tour escort to accompany you during the tour

 ●The itinerary (local departure and arrival times, sightseeing locations, order of itinerary, meal times,etc.) may change due to traffic conditions and holiday seasons, as well as based on the weather conditions. ●Boat trips and rides on ropeways, etc. may be canceled due to weather conditions. This may result in changes to the itinerary. ●Due to the weather, some events may be canceled or postponed, and there may not be a clear view of Mount Fuji, the starry sky at night, sunrises, or sunsets, or seasonal flowers such as cherry blossom is not in bloom. Even in those situations, the tour will still go ahead and refunds of the travel fee will not be offered. ●Revisions to train timetables and changes to flight schedules, etc., may result in shifts in the departure and arrival time ranges of each tour’s itinerary. ●The listed events are scheduled as of 1 FEB 2025. They may be changed or canceled. ●In the event of orders issued from government and public offices or for other reasons that are beyond our control, the itinerary may be changed or canceled if it becomes difficult for transportation, accommodation, sightseeing facilities, etc., to provide services.

<Seating>

 ●We cannot accept advance requests for seating on planes, trains, other transportation. Couples or people in the same tour group may be seated apart from each other. ●During meals, you may be seated next to people from another tour group.

Please inform your travel agent at the time of booking if you have any food allergies or special dietary requirements, such as vegetarian or halal meals. Please note that some properties may not be able to accommodate special meal requests. We are unable to provide completely allergy-free food during the trip. <Cancellation Policy>
Cancellation fee
(1)If the customer cancels the tour reservation for any reason after the tour contract has been concluded, the following 
amount will be charged as a cancellation fee.
(2) If the customer fail to pay the travel fee by the due date, we shall 
regard the contract as cancelled by the customer on the next day of the due date. In this case, the customer must pay 
to the travel agent and JTB a penalty equal to the cancellation fee.
