Flight Ticket Terms and Conditions
In the following situations, we recommend contacting us directly via our website online form or email address:
- Minors traveling alone or minors traveling without a guardian.
- Individuals under 15 years old attempting to purchase a flight ticket by themselves.
- Cases where additional support or special services are required.
JTB USA Service Fee, Ticketing and Guidelines:
- JTB USA will review all bookings made online by an agent to ensure our quality of service. Therefore, after booking with our online booking system, your reservation will be reviewed for any issues. If there are no issues with the reservation and there is no price change, the booking will be issued and confirmed. If there are any issues (e.g. - price increase, unavailable flight, etc), one of our agents will be in contact with you via email or phone that was provided during the checkout process of the booking process.
- Our company charges a fee of $50 per flight ticket (this fee is non-refundable).
- Regarding advance seat reservations, we cannot guarantee complete certainty.
- Before proceeding with the purchase, please ensure that there are no mistakes in your name, flight schedule, or other details. Once the purchase is complete, changes or cancellations cannot be made. If there is an error and not found before the ticket is issued, a new ticket must be purchased.
Registration of Your Legal Name:
- Please register the name of the traveler exactly as it is written in the passport, in English.
- If there is a middle name, include it as well.
- Exclude any hyphens or brackets included in the name.
Example: Surname Johnson(Tanaka)→ Johnson Tanaka
If there is a mistake in the registration of your name, you will need to purchase a new ticket. If you are unsure about the registration, please contact us before purchasing.
Regarding the Modification and Refund of Tickets:
- Generally, ticket changes and refunds are not accepted.
- In exceptional cases where changes are allowed, additional fees may apply.
- Even if refunds are granted, specific conditions and fees will apply.
Special Regulations Regarding Tickets:
- Stricter conditions may apply to round-trip tickets or regulations that are partially applied.
About Flight Schedules:
- Ensure there are no errors in your schedule before purchasing.
- If you purchase with the wrong schedule, you will need to buy a new ticket.
Flight Seat Reservations:
- Advance seat reservations are not always guaranteed.
- Pre-booked seats may change due to equipment alterations or flight conditions.
- For specific seat reservations, please contact the airline directly.
In-flight Meals:
- In-flight meals vary depending on the airline and class, and not all requests can be accommodated.
Regarding Accumulation of Mileage:
- Mileage accumulation varies depending on the program, so it is necessary to check with the respective airline for details.
Regulations on Stopovers:
- There will be no refunds for unused portions of the trip if you do not use all the booked segments.
No Show; No Value:
- If you do not show up at the airport and do not use your ticket, it becomes invalid. No refund will be provided.
Check the Expiry Date of Your Passport:
Different countries have different requirements for passport validity. Before traveling, it's important to check your passport's expiration date and the visa requirements for yourself. We cannot take responsibility if you are unable to board due to passport or visa issues. Also, there will be no refund for the ticket cost if you are unable to board.
- Travelers to the USA must register for the VISA WAIVER PROGRAM. This registration must be completed at least 72 hours before your flight. [https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov] ※A registration fee applies.
- Since March 15, 2016, air travelers from Japan and other visa-exempt countries to Canada require an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization).
